THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CLUB, BAR, AND LOUNGE

Throughout your short life (hopefully…) as a partygoer, you are going to encounter different types of venues. While many people have attended different types, not many people know the true difference between a Club, Bar, and Lounge. That where we come in, here are the three most types of venues broken down for your education and enjoyment:

The Club – Clubs will always have Music and Booze. Unlike a bar or lounge, a Club gives you a high energy atmosphere that motivates you to dance and party hard. This will include having a full dance floor equipped with special lighting where you can show off your nonexistent dance moves or grind up on some intoxicated guy/chick you don't know. One other notable difference would be music volume, which would generally be much higher inside the club in comparison to bars and lounges. In regards to attire, trendy is typically the norm and is STRICTLY enforce. Lastly drink prices are generally about 30% higher at Clubs. Why you ask? In the end, you "get what you pay for". Clubs usually provide better service where the bartender will try to remember you, they are also generally pretty damn hott too!

Bars – These venues are generally smaller dive spots where you and your friend might want to go before the Club. The music is generally pretty good. The dress code is NOT strictly enforced and drinks are significantly cheaper, they generally have draft beers or 2 for one shot specials. Most people are standing at a table or by the bar as in general there is not too much seating at bars. Bars are most fun when it's a week day when you just want a low key drink with your friend or spend an evening trying to impress that girl you have no chance of getting.

Lounges – this would be the HYBRID of clubs and bars. They give you the vibe of a club and the laxness of a bar. You can dress up or down at lounges usually and there is plenty of seating. The largest pitfall of a lounge is that there is NO DANCE FLOOR. They play good music but this place is design for the dancing challenge, for those head bobbers and seat dancers out there! Drinks are pretty much the same price here, but you will be able to look cool without the fear of being asked to dance.
